bye bye star

i lost my star last night.a friend gave it to me 2-3 years ago and i always kept it with my id lace. if you saw it,you wouldn't think it was all that special.it was grubby looking and was a little bit thinner than it used to be, because i'd squeezed it when ever i was stressed out. funny thing is, it looks like that this is the answer to my question.
so bye star, thank you for staying with me all these years. i sincerely hope you have a good life.

omigod! i was reading my mail ealier, and it seems that unfortunately, sas did not forget her *ahem* dare.....uh-oh! i am definitely unprepared for that! must begin the huff and puff process immediately!

on to other things......

i am fully convinced that our house is very much haunted. we've been hearing things from the empty rooms, there was even one morning where i woke up to a "ssssshhhhtttt" "sssshhhhhtttt" sound coming uncomfortably near my bed(i didn't dare open my eyes!) and there have been times that our water dispenser turns on by itself!how's that for weird?of all the appliances, why is it the dispenser?! anybody know how to reach the ghostbusters?

in other news....
i have been talked into another class for my MA.oh joy! but it looks like that there will only be two of us, so it's more of a tutorial class.plus the prof is cool- shaved head with tattoos....and she's a woman!

burning bridges

i got a message last week from a friend that there would be a barkada reunion during the weekend, i replied that sure i'll be there just as long as she texts me when and where. well she didn't and i thought that it was moved to another date. but now i find out that they DID have the get together.what am i supposed to think now?! she didn't get my reply or that she did get it, but chose to ignore it? i'm really hoping for the former. i thought everything was ok between us na....at least i'm over it....it's already been a year and i was looking forward to seeing them again....they were my best friends, they made everything so much fun, we always had something to do and no dull moment, and they made me a much better person.

so what now? do i burn that bridge?

estudyante blues

as of today i am now officially a student.....again! urgh! as to how i got myself into this very delightful situation is a bit complicated so no use in rehashing it. bottom line i'll be taking up my MA in IS.

hayyy....my life is so confusing right now.....

highway drama

okay, it didn't really happen on a highway. i just think it makes a much better title....hehehe.... my mom and i were driving back home from FTI in taguig today because i went in for an interview for a position at a beach resort.as we exit the compound i even got us a little lost because i insisted on turning left towards bicutan instead of right which would have taken us to pasay.anyway, just as we turned into that little road that brings us back to C-5, the car's stick shift starts to act funky and won't go into any of the gears! so ofcourse we had to stop, as there was no way we could drive at all. my mom leaves for a couple of minutes and gets a policeman who in turn fetches a "mechanic". i use the term loosely, because when he arrived he didn't bring any tools and even manged to tear up the rubber cover of the stick shift. urgh! by now we have the "mechanic", the policeman my mom called over, plus 2 more policemen (who are not really doing anything, just making osyoso) and a guy who's just making pakialam and getting in everyone's way!urgh! too many cooks in the kitchen!

after 30 minutes of the "mechanic's" fiddling, we finally get the car to move and go on our way. as we get on to C-5, my mom turns to me and say "buti nalang medyo nawala tayo kanina!" hahaha! she's right in a twisted way. if i hadn't insisted on turning left we would have been on C-5 with all the fast moving cars when the stick shift broke. talk about fate!

an apo experience

W-O-W wow!
we went to the apo concert last night. it was quite an experience since they are not the usual genre of music that i listen to,plus i had them categorized as part of the "oldies" genre.so i had little to no idea as to what their songs were.

their show was fantastic! more than singers, they were entertainers. they kept the audience laughing in between numbers with their antics. and since this was their last concert here, it was very sentimental.turns out they've been together for nearly 37 years.

fuzzy pics since we were sitting in the balcony section:

Road Rage

It's halo-halo season once again!

It's that time of the year, where sweat drips from your face as soon as you get out of the shower.Actually you take several showers a day now.You don't move the entire day because it's too hot.So you become this big melted lump on the couch. You pretend to be looking for something in the the fridge door just so you could feel the cold air.You wear as little clothes as possible. You hair is now always in a pony tail so that it won't stick to the back of your neck. You refuse to get out of the house unless absolutely necessary (i.e. your house is on fire), not even for another people power movement. You are constantly snacking on halo-halo, fruit shakes, mais con yelo, snow cones, ice cream, shaved ice, ice cubes, ice chips..... basta ice! You sit in the car just a little while longer, para ubusin yung cold air. Hahaha!

Bring on the heat!
